Apr 25: On A Month With Many Things
Happy Labour Day!
My 15th year in the labour force.
This year, I made a bit more effort to show up for Raya open houses than usual.
In terms of amount, it's possible I attended more open houses this Syawal than in the previous ten combined. Who says I'm antisocial? -_-
Which reminds me, my wife and I celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary. 10th anniversaries are called Tin, apparently.
I think we haven't changed much, but then I look at the amount of white hairs on my head...
On another note, we took the train back to Ipoh. First trip home in a while. Always good to see Mum (and sister, too).
While in my other 'home', rain wrought havoc on the neighbourhood again. This time, the entire electric pole got taken down along with my Internet line.
Also worth highlighting I had my first run after the long Ramadan break.
It was ASS. Let's leave it at that.
Played pickleball with brother and cousins. Should maybe do this more often.
Should also visit more things in KL other than malls.
Last month, we decided to visit Immersify KL. I've always wanted to visit TeamLabs in Japan, so Immersify was intriguing to me.
Happy to say it didn't disappoint. Kids enjoyed it too.
Oh - and another thing: my hometown football team disbanded due to crippling debts. Typical Malaysian behaviour.
At the very least, we can take pride in being the only Malaysian team whose jersey is owned by a current Liverpool player.
Anyway, at the beginning of April I decided to treat myself to a Taeyeon concert so I find myself in Singapore as I type this.
I guess we'll find out if I enjoyed it next month.
