Feb 24: On A Month Of Many Highlights

A slightly more eventful February then.

First run of 2024. Was terribly underprepared and ran out of gas halfway. Thankfully, met a chap who invited me to run together with him and we sort of motivated each other right until the end.

Hit the old trails again. Twice, in fact. The first one was on a working weekday, which was something new. On the second, met a whole bunch of work friends.

 

Also experienced my first medial evacuation from the office. Nothing serious. Just felt super dizzy after lunch. Oddly, felt right as rain the moment I reached the medical center. Doctor was giving me funny looks. Not in a hurry to repeat this experience, though.

Had the opportunity to meet up with uni friends - the few who were around anyway. Old roommate's going off to Argentina for work.

Celebrated CNY with the fam. I say this every year but I swear the gang is getting smaller with every passing year.

Took the kids to an indoor petting zoo located inside a mall. It was pricey AF but it was a pleasant change from the usual stuff. Kids enjoyed it too.

Took Lily on her first train ride. Wasn't particularly impressed. She was more than happy to be sitting in her stroller while hugging her pillow the entire time. Guess no one else shares Daddy's enthusiasm for public transportation.

 

Ramadan is soon. Looking forward to it. Could use losing a few kilos, which I'll typically regain within the first three days of Syawal. But I suppose I'll worry about that later.
