Friendship

"As I get older, I realize I don't have that many friends"

Said a school friend with whom I was having coffee with last Saturday. And he's right.

We all walk separate paths in our journeys to achieve our ambitions. As a result, for most of us, the friendships we make are more out of convenience than anything else. We usually draw closer to whoever we happen to be studying/working with at that particular point of our lives. Once we move on, that friendship moves on too.

Sad reality of life, I suppose.
