Yo aprendo espanol

One of the things I've picked up during this lockdown is to get back to learning Spanish.

I started learning it two years ago using the Duolingo app but could never keep up the consistency required to gain any sort of proficiency.

I've now been learning it 137 days straight. I reckon I can string together basic introductory sentences, ask for directions and order food. My wife may think I'm crazy speaking gibberish into my phone all the time but it's all for a good cause.

I'm not going to lie - I felt really gangsta when I reached 100 days. Then I saw a friend of mine posting his 1000-day streak on Instagram and it brought me down a peg.

We'll see if I can keep this up with the impending return to office.
